To edit hills you can just point a place drag and drop the mouse pointer up or down to create an hill

Just to make sure I’ve got it right. River, terrain, then the rest & it must be in that order?

1st River

then what you want, it is obvious that if you want a good map you will have to edit terrain and then finishing touches like hamlets and villages.

Do not understimate hamlets for they can be used like suburbs of near village thus creating interesting struggles for hamlets

I'm Impressed with this, it will take some time to get used to it, but when people have had time to "practice" I would expect some interesting maps to appear.

I may some some myself - if I ever get a MP or PBEM game going.

Map Editor Bug

Hello Everyone  :D

is it just me or the 'Quit' selection on Map Editor menu doesn't work...I have to bring up task manager and close
the Editor from there ? :? :?

What I've seen so far I like...there only a limited amount of objects that one can place: this is not too terrible.
and placing of a river should be ok if one means to design the Danube Crossing !

One thing I would like to see is animation to the water....and corpses and horses floating by after a fight...(nasty?)

I can produce  6 Km maps!
But in the game these are represented in a too large!
And the game show the units wrong!

Do you have also the problem?
